What is GIS bushing?


In the power system, the outgoing sleeve used in GIS substation, the outdoor part is the porcelain bushing filled with SF6 gas. The leakage of air during operation makes the internal gas pressure drop, resulting in insulation failure and porcelain bushing explosion. In recent years, the use of composite hollow insulator instead of porcelain bushing increased year by year. Although the explosion hazard was avoided, there was still an air leakage problem, which brought a lot of maintenance work of detection machine.

Also due to the GIS for casing indoor SF6 gas performance is affected by pressure, when the environment temperature is very low, gas concentration (below 40 ºC liquefy), depress insulation performance, so in the environment temperature is low, can't use this kind of casing.

ChinSun FGRG reinforced dry GIS outgoing busing uses capacitive uniform pressure structure glass fiber impregnated with epoxy resin to enhance the wrapped solid insulation. There is no SF6 gas in the outdoor part of the bushing and there is no risk of air leakage. There is no need to test and maintain it during operation. Gas at the same time, due to the flanges and then the gas pressure station is mutually, and the plant installed in temperature control indoor, so the gas temperature within the flange is controlled, the casing can be lower than to 40 ºC under the environment of running.
