Our development in the transmission and distribution industry is also in response to our country's loss. The requirements for the power distribution equipment manufacturing industry are unfolded. The main thing I introduced to you today is to briefly introduce the general situation of Chint Group and introduce the development of Chint in the power transmission and distribution industry.
Founded in 1984, Zhengtai Group Co., Ltd. has 8 major professional companies, more than 2,000 domestic and foreign sales centers and special distribution offices, and more than 40 sales organizations in foreign countries. The products cover high and low voltage electrical, power transmission and distribution equipment. , instrumentation, building electrical, automotive electrical, industrial automation and photovoltaic electromagnetic and main power systems and other major industries, products are sold to more than 70 countries and regions around the world. Our main production base has three regions, the most important of which is low voltage electrical in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Our transmission and distribution production base is in Songjiang, Shanghai. Our industrial automation and solar electromagnetic industry is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is currently our three main production bases. Of course, we also have many small-scale regional factories, as well as sales companies and offices.
The current total assets of our Zhengtai Group Company has exceeded 6 billion yuan. According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics in 2006, we rank 208 among the top 500 domestic enterprises. Among the rankings of the National Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises, we are 13th place. Since its inception in 1984, Chint Group has been committed to providing high quality products to its customers. In 2004, we were awarded the “National Quality Management Award†by the China Quality Association, which was the only private enterprise in China at that time.
Below I will specifically introduce to you the new development of our Chint Group in the field of transmission and distribution. By the year 2000, Chint Group Corporation has become the largest manufacturer of low-voltage electrical products in China, with a market share of nearly 30%. So how to develop is to further concentrate all our energy in the field of low-voltage electrical to further expand market share. Into the real estate to diversify, engage in other aspects of development, or adhere to industrial upgrading, in the field of electrical products to further development of high-voltage electrical products, it should be said that we have reached a choice. Therefore, after careful and careful research by the group company, in 2003, the company formulated a development strategy of industrialization, technology, and internationalization, and also resisted the diversification of real estate, bio-pharmaceutics, etc., and proposed to build the world. The grand goal of first-class electric manufacturing enterprises has established a road of development around the main business, based in Wenzhou, connecting Shanghai and Hangzhou, integrating resources, giving play to advantages and going global.
In July 2003, the launching ceremony of the Chint International Advanced Electric Manufacturing Base project was held in Wenzhou, our group company headquarters. We launched the top ten projects at the same time in one day. One of the most important measures was to respond to the Zhejiang Provincial Committee. The provincial government proposed to take the initiative to connect with Shanghai and integrate into Changjiang, and invested 3.5 billion yuan to establish a 1500-acre transmission and distribution industry project in Songjiang, Shanghai. From this day, it marks the Zhengtai Group from the field of low-voltage electrical products. Formally entered the field of high voltage transmission and distribution. We have fully entered the field of high voltage transformers, high voltage switches, medium and low voltage sets, distribution automation, electrical cables, and general contracting services for power engineering, installation and other services for our customers.
In 2005, Zhengtai Songjiang Industrial Park, our transmission and distribution production base in Shanghai has begun to take shape. In 2005, the construction of our base was included in the major industrial upgrading project of Shanghai's advanced manufacturing industry. It was the only one of the 20 projects in Shanghai that year. A private enterprise, together with us, Baosteel, Sinopec, SAIC, ZTE, and SVA, should also say that this also reflects Shanghai's emphasis on our Chint Power Transmission and Distribution Industrial Park. In the field of high-voltage transmission and distribution, in addition to building a Shanghai industrial base, we are also actively seeking cooperation in all aspects and seeking common development. In 2003, we joined forces with Anhui Electric Power Company to establish Nuclear Power Zhengtai Co., Ltd., which is our Zhengtai holding company. In 2005, we successfully acquired the annual productivity of 1 billion yuan. Zhejiang Jiaxing Nanhu Power Plant reflects our high-voltage electrical products. Confidence and determination. At the beginning of Shanghai, high-voltage electrical products are completely different from power companies. We must use the best technology, the best talents, the most advanced equipment, and the most scientific management to ensure the smooth development of high-pressure product research and development. Starting later than others, but we have to have higher technology. In line with this idea, Zhengtai Electric recruits talents from the industry, focusing on technology development, product development and hardware investment, laying a solid foundation for the rapid development of the transmission and distribution industry.
In 2004, while Zhengtai Electric was building its industrial base, we completed new product development and technological innovation of 200 lines, initially achieving the development of high-voltage level, breakthrough in power automation, and the strategic goal of extending to complete technology. At that time, Zhengtai Electric Technology Center was Named Shanghai Technical Center. In 2005, Chint Electric completed a total of 22 lines of new products for power transmission and distribution, and purchased 13 patents throughout the year. By 2006, we initially built a team of more than 500 people with R&D, sales and production. We have also become a research and development room for railway electrification, and we have cooperated with many universities in Shanghai, Tongji and Tsinghua. The 126 kV GS seven new products we developed in the past passed the national appraisal and were considered by experts to reach the international advanced level. At the same time, we also participated in the formulation of four national standards in the field of transmission and distribution products. Recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai.
I would like to introduce a lot of considerations in the process of technology research and development and transformation. What products does Chint have in the field of high voltage transmission and distribution products? Let's briefly introduce it below. Up to now, our Zhengtai Electric basically covers power transmission and distribution products below 500 kV in transmission and distribution products, including high voltage transformers, high voltage switches, including circuit breakers and GS, high voltage insulators, medium and low voltage switch equipment, and power distribution. Automation, wire and cable, and basically all products in the field of power transmission and distribution are involved. In addition to the development and manufacture of power transmission and distribution products, our Zhengtai Electric can also provide users with value-added services such as engineering design, installation and general contracting. We have basically achieved integration and systemization services for the manufacture and design of transmission and distribution products, installation and installation, in addition to power generation.
The theme of the conference is internationalization. In terms of internationalization, we also attach great importance to the development of the international market. Although we are a new recruit in the field of power transmission and distribution, we have attached great importance to the internationalization of products at the beginning of development. In just a few years, we have many The products have passed the certification of Russia (PCT) and the certification of the Netherlands (Kaiwa) company. We have won many projects in Asia, Africa and Europe. After several years of development, our Zhengtai Transmission and Distribution Industrial Base basically realized the construction of the first phase of the project. Our products have been put on the market, and the second phase of the project has basically come to an end. We plan the transmission and distribution products in the third and fourth phases. It will be fully involved in the millions of fields, and the goal of achieving two million transformers. The construction of the third and fourth phases is expected to start later next year.
After several years of development, we are basically getting started in the field of power transmission and distribution products. According to our own positioning, we are regarded as a newcomer in the industry. In addition to self-developed more than 700 products for more than four years, The product range continues to expand. In addition, we have already produced circuit breakers, surge arresters, insulators, distribution automation products, etc., and low-voltage switchgear such as wire and cable below 35 kV. Assets of 1.6 billion yuan, by 2010 we expect assets to reach 4.2 billion yuan. At present, our company's 110 kV transformers and GS have fully entered the domestic market, and some of them have entered the international market with 220 kV transformers and GS small batches. The company has accumulated more than 100 users of 220 kV and 110 kV transformers. The 132 kV main transformer was successfully invested in Congo, providing 110 kV transformers for key enterprises in China such as Baosteel Group, Daqing Oilfield and Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. The company is currently involved in more than 100 biddings in the national network of China National Network, North China, Shaanxi, Guizhou and other provinces. In the first half of 2007, Chint Electric's sales in overseas markets increased significantly year-on-year, and 24 kV medium voltage cabinet circuit products were sold to Poland and Nigeria. Our 110 kV isolation switches, insulators and transformers are also sold to Inner Mongolia and neighboring countries.
