Bracco Imaging plans to introduce AR technology into cancer interventional therapy

Bracco Imaging is collaborating with RAWSrl to bring augmented reality (AR) technology into the field of oncology interventional procedures. This innovative partnership aims to enhance precision and improve outcomes for patients undergoing cancer treatments.

As a global leader in diagnostic imaging, Bracco Imaging has recently announced its collaboration with RAWSrl, a company known for its advanced medical technologies. Together, they are introducing AR-based solutions that will transform how interventional oncology procedures are performed, offering clinicians better tools for navigation and decision-making during critical treatments.

One of the major challenges in interventional oncology is the difficulty in visualizing deep-seated tumors during procedures. While efforts have been made to improve image resolution and navigation systems, AR technology offers a new level of clarity and guidance. RAWSrl’s solution, Endosight, integrates AR with advanced imaging software called ablr-fit, providing real-time 3D reconstructions, planning tools, and diagnostic support for minimally invasive procedures like tumor ablation and biopsy under CT guidance.

Luigi Solbiati, a professor of radiology at Humanitas University in Milan, as well as a consultant and scientific director at Humanitas Research Hospital, shared his thoughts on the technology. He said, “ablr-fit demonstrates an exceptional ability to predict what the radiologist sees in terms of recurrence. In preclinical studies, Endosight has shown remarkable performance, allowing doctors to ‘see through’ patients using augmented reality without relying solely on direct imaging.” With over 30 years of experience in imaging innovation, he added, “I believe Bracco’s culture of innovation is the ideal environment for developing and spreading new methods.”

Instructions:

device is power-on.
4. Plug the timer into electrical outlet and the electrical device will be work
according to the setting program.

is on the [Normal Open" mode, the electrical device is
always power-on and the timer function no work.
