Design and Application of Remote Prepayment Energy Management System of Suning Square in Ganzhou

Zhuozhou Suning Plaza is a multi-functional complex that integrates commercial, residential, and apartment areas. The shopping area spans nine floors above ground, with two underground levels dedicated to a supermarket and parking facilities. This project aims to establish a true pedestrian street in Zhangzhou, serving as a landmark for the city's future development and a symbol of modern urban life. This project implements a remote prepayment energy management system for Suning Square in Zhangzhou. It focuses on the 7th-floor commercial distribution area, ensuring electricity is paid for before use, thus improving efficiency and reducing financial risks for both users and the property management. The monitoring system primarily manages the 0.4kV power distribution system on the floor, conducting toll management and energy efficiency evaluation. It covers 257 DTSY1352 prepaid meters, supported by three data acquisition boxes. These boxes collect and analyze data via serial port servers, then communicate through an optical fiber network to the monitoring host, enabling energy and charge management functions. The system follows a hierarchical distributed structure: station control layer, communication layer, and bay layer. The bay layer includes multifunctional network power meters and prepaid meters, which communicate via RS485 interfaces using MODBUS-RTU protocols. The communication layer features a server responsible for collecting field data and transmitting it to the station control layer. The station control layer consists of industrial computers, monitors, UPS systems, and printers, allowing real-time monitoring and user interaction. RS485 technology ensures reliable communication with shielded cables, supporting up to 32 devices over a distance of 1.2 km. The system supports various pricing models, including single rate, multi-rate, and tiered pricing, and enables remote electricity sales, centralized meter reading, and remote control. Key features include quick configuration, real-time meter reading, remote recharging, secure data transmission, SMS alerts, and mobile access for users. Compared to traditional IC card-based systems, this remote solution enhances efficiency, reduces manual tasks, and improves security against fraud. In the case of Luzhou Suning Square, the system uses ADF300 series meters to monitor voltage, current, power, and other parameters. It offers centralized meter reading, alarm notifications, and user management, along with detailed reporting and customizable interfaces. The system also provides comprehensive reports, such as financial sales statistics, energy consumption analysis, and alarm history, supporting export formats like Excel. Users can print documents like electricity sales and account opening forms. In conclusion, the system not only increases electricity collection rates but also helps manage energy usage efficiently, aligning with government initiatives for energy conservation. It prevents unauthorized electricity use and reduces financial pressure on new businesses. Standards followed include ISO/IEC11801, GB50052, DL/T standards, and others related to electrical design and energy metering. Author: He Meifang, Ankerui Electric Co., Ltd.
