1, directly with 220V voltage test light

This kind of situation is very common in the project. When the product arrives at the construction site, the installation master does not want to think about it. First try it with 220V. When the luck is not good, dozens of lines are all burned. You may say that the installation master has many years of experience, or is learning in "Lanxiang", huh, huh... In fact, when the project is installed in the field, the situation in which the master is wrongly connected is often checked.

2, waterproof when installed

Sometimes the customer said that the lamp was broken. During the on-site inspection, it was found that some of the wires were obviously filled with water.

3, the underwater light is too far from the transformer

This situation causes the voltage across the underwater light to be much less than 12V. Although the light is good and does not reach a certain voltage, the light will not light up normally.

To purchase LED underwater lights, the following points should be considered:

1, security

People-oriented, in the landscape, personal safety should be the first element. According to the requirements of the national standard, the LED underwater light with 12V safety voltage should be selected and used with the AC transformer. Manufacturers and dealers sometimes do not use low-pressure underwater lights in order to make a business, or the users themselves are cheap, although the customer's procurement costs are reduced (saving transformer costs), but increased security risks.

2, specifications

Common specifications are: diameter, material, voltage, power, illuminating color, etc. Can be customized. Commonly used are colorful light and warm white light. If you pay attention to the lighting function, generally choose warm white light or white light; if you pay attention to the color effect, you can use colorful change, or red, yellow, blue, green. Externally controlled underwater lights can achieve complex effects.

3, appearance and shell material

According to the design of the lighting site, budget and other factors, we can choose the appropriate underwater light power, shape, internal control or external control. LED fountain lights are generally used in fountains, which can also be used in conjunction with ordinary underwater lights. The ordinary pools and parks can use ordinary underwater lights. Due to long-term use in water, the underwater lamp housing material should have a certain anti-corrosion function, and the LED underwater lamp with stainless steel casing or ABS plastic casing can be selected.

Economics refers to the sum of one-time investment and operating expenses of lamps. Generally speaking, the underwater lamp with beautiful appearance and good quality has higher lamp price, longer service life and less operation and maintenance cost; on the contrary, the underwater lamp with poor quality is cheap, but often leaks. 1. According to the total power of the LED underwater light, the size of the transformer is suitable.

In general, a transformer usage rate of 75% is appropriate, that is, a 100W transformer drives a lamp that does not exceed 75W. Pay attention to the transformer's incoming and outgoing lines.

2, the distance of the transformer from the lamp

Since the wire itself has a resistance, a part of the voltage is divided, resulting in a voltage of less than 12V at the remote underwater light. Therefore, the distance of the underwater light from the transformer outlet should not be too far. If the distance is too far, you can increase the number of transformers.

3, do waterproof

Make waterproof connection between power supply and transformer, transformer and underwater light connection - use waterproof junction box and sealant.

4. The safest method in theory is to place the high pressure (220V) part outside the water surface and the low pressure part in the water.
