It is reported that Shougang high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel has more than 200 sets of ultra-high-voltage transformers of 500 kV and above; thin gauge products are used in the world's first large ultra-low iron loss, energy-saving and environmentally friendly coil core traction transformers, installation The first intelligent substation in China's high-speed rail.

"Double million" UHV refers to a transformer with a capacity of 1 million kVA and a voltage level of 1 million volts. It is the power transformer with the highest AC voltage and voltage level and the largest capacity. It is called the "Pearl in the transformer industry". ". Its requirements for oriented silicon steel materials are very strict, and only three to four companies worldwide can supply "two million" UHV oriented silicon steel.
