VR Experience Helps the "Five Years of Progress" Achievement Exhibition Open to the Public

The VR Network recently learned that the “Great Five Years of Progress” exhibition, held at the Beijing Exhibition Hall, has officially opened to the public. The event showcases a wide range of interactive exhibits and immersive experiences that have drawn large crowds of visitors eager to explore China's recent advancements. "I'm extremely proud to be Chinese!" said an elderly man excitedly after experiencing the Long March II F rocket’s assembly, transportation, and launch through VR glasses. The exhibit allows visitors to step into the shoes of engineers and witness the entire process of launching the rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. In the "Practicing New Development Concepts to Lead the New Normal of Economic Development" section, a series of images highlight the remarkable progress in rural revitalization. Huayao Village in Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, once known as the Red Army Martyrs’ Village, had seen significant hardship. Five years ago, villagers lived in adobe houses, slept on wooden beds, and used earthen stoves. With support from both central and local governments, the village embarked on a new housing project. By early 2015, all residents had moved into modern homes, marking a major transformation. Another highlight of the exhibition is the "Implementing Innovation-Driven Development Strategy" section, where cutting-edge scientific achievements are on display. From the "Tianyan" radio telescope to the deep-sea exploration "Diaolong," and from quantum satellite experiments to the supercomputer "Shenwei Taihu Light," China's technological innovation has made impressive breakthroughs. A visitor, holding a model of the "Dragon," exclaimed, "The wisdom of the Chinese people is truly endless!" Near the Three Gorges Ship Lift model, a group of engineering enthusiasts and workers discussed its construction. Known as the "Ship Elevator," this is the world's largest and most technologically complex ship lift. Visitors were amazed to learn that it can lift a vessel nearly 40 floors high in just 10 minutes. One spectator raised his thumb and said, "Made in China is amazing!" A massive photo in the exhibition commemorates the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, showing students from Beijing and Hong Kong raising the national flag at Tiananmen Square. Some participants from Hong Kong and Beijing attended the exhibition, reenacting the moment by posing in front of the photo wearing the same outfits. Wang Borong, a student from the University of Hong Kong, shared his unforgettable experience: "That exchange activity brought us closer. We even created a WeChat group and rode the 'Little Yellow Car' to South Luogu Lane. This kind of life is so trendy—it's something I can't experience in Hong Kong. The pace of our country's development is too fast. I'm proud of my motherland!" The exhibition not only highlights China's achievements but also inspires hope for the future. As one visitor left the hall, he told reporters, "Over the past five years, the party and government have solved many long-standing problems and completed many previously unattainable tasks. We have every reason to believe that tomorrow will be even better for our motherland!"
