Gartner's Top IT Companies: Apple Tops

【Global Network Technology Report】On June 20th, Gartner Company ranked the companies according to their IT business income (excluding communications business) in 2016, and announced the top 100 IT companies list. This is the first time that Gartner has released it. IT company rankings.

According to the list, in the 2016 IT business income, Apple topped the list with US$218.1 billion, surpassing the sum of Microsoft’s and Google’s revenues, becoming the world’s largest IT company.

Samsung ranked second with US$139.2 billion. Google and Microsoft won third and fourth with US$90.1 billion and US$85.7 billion, respectively. The top five companies on the list have no more than $100 billion in revenue. The fourth-ranked Microsoft IT business revenue was 85.7 billion U.S. dollars, ranking fifth on IBM’s 77.8 billion U.S. dollars.

It is worth noting that Google ranked No. 3, although lagging far behind Apple, but the momentum of development is very strong, its total revenue in 2015 was 74.9 billion US dollars, and IT business in 2016 90.1 billion US dollars in revenue has exceeded Google’s revenue for all its businesses in 2015.
