China's First World's Most Advanced 3D Printer Unveils Unveiled Print Speed 10x Faster

The unveiling of the first HP multi-jet fusion 3D printer in China is scheduled for July 17th. This event will take place at the 3D Printing Innovation Center located within the Qingdao Hi-Tech Zone. The center is set to open its doors to the public on July 22nd, revealing the mysteries behind this groundbreaking technology. This marks the official launch of HP's 3D Printing Innovation Center and signifies the deep collaboration between HP and the industrial groups in the 3D printing sector. Since HP announced its entry into the Chinese market during a press conference in Shanghai in mid-June, there has been significant interest from various industries, including aerospace, automotive, equipment manufacturing, and medicine. This announcement has created a ripple effect across the 3D printing industry. As the latest generation of industrial-grade 3D printers, HP’s machines promise to be ten times faster, at half the cost, and nearly as durable as metal. These advancements are expected to pave the way for a new era in 3D printing. Back in 2012, when the U.S. government named 3D printing as one of the top 15 advanced manufacturing technologies of the future, and when The Economist called it a key driver of the third industrial revolution, 3D printing began gaining popularity worldwide. The global 3D printing market has since grown at an impressive rate of over 40% annually. With the support of the Qingdao municipal government and the Hi-Tech Zone, the China 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance has established the largest comprehensive 3D printing hub in the country in Qingdao. This hub serves multiple functions, including scientific education, demonstration, processing services, educational training, online shopping, and business incubation. The Qingdao center has played a crucial role in driving the growth of the 3D printing industry in China. Its recognition by national and local leaders underscores its importance. The decision to settle HP's multi-jet fusion 3D printing technology in Qingdao reflects the high regard HP holds within the industry and its confidence in integrating 3D printing with Qingdao's industrial landscape. Since the center's inception in June 2015, it has welcomed over 5,000 visitors from more than 600 domestic and international delegations. Currently, more than 120 customers from across the country have expressed interest in visiting and exploring HP's 3D printing technology. Luo Jun, Chairman of Infinite Three-Dimensional (Qingdao) Technology Industry Group, noted in an interview that the widespread adoption of 3D printing is inevitable. He emphasized that the key lies in achieving superior technology, precision, speed, and cost-effectiveness. Mr. Luo is confident that 3D printing could carve out a significant share of the traditional manufacturing industry, which amounts to trillions of dollars globally.
