MIPI DSI 0

The 410c provides a four-way MIPI-DSI interface that connects to the high-speed expansion port. Since the APQ8016 has only a single MIPI-DSI interface, it can only drive one DSI-HDMI bridge, so a DSI selector is required.

The channel selector (U11, FSA644UCK) is mounted on the 410c, and the HDMI and MIPI-DSI interfaces can only drive one of them. The control signal is called DSI_SW_SEL_APQ. When the signal is set to 0, MIPI-DSI is enabled and connected to the DSI-HDMI bridge.

When the DSI_SE_SEL_APQ logic bit is 1, the MIPI-DSI is connected to the high speed expansion port. This design assigns the DSI_SW_SEL_APQ function to GPIO_32

The user can override the software control by setting the S6 port of the DIP switch to "ON". This action forces the DSI selector to connect MIPI-DSI to the DSI-HDMI bridge. This feature is only designed for HDMI. You cannot force the mux to connect to the high speed expansion connector. When the hardware forces the ESI selector to connect to HDMI, the software must be configured with reasonable HDMI capabilities.

MIPI CSI{0/1}

Currently 410c supports a four-way MIPI-CSI interface, located on CSI0, two MIPI-CSI ports, located on CSI1. All MIPI-CSI signals are directly connected to the APQ-8016 chip

I2C{2/3}

Currently 410c provides two MIPI-CSI interfaces, so two I2C interfaces must be supported.

For MIPI-CSI0, the corresponding I2C2 is directly connected to the APQ8016. For MIPI-CSI1, the corresponding I2C port is I2C3

HSIC

410c does not currently support MIPI-HSIC functions

SD/SPI

The 410c provides full-speed four-wire SPI masters—CLK, CS, MOSI, and MISO, all connected directly to the APQ8016 SoC, and the signal is driven by 1.8v.

Clock signal

Two CSI clock sources are implemented on 410c. CSI0_MCLK passes through APQ GPIO_26 port and CSI1_MCLK through APQ GPIO_27 port. These signals are driven by 1.8v.

USB

The 410c board currently provides USB functionality by pulling USB channel 3 from the USB hub of the high-speed expansion port.
