The United Kingdom notified the A-type LED bulb of Verbatim, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. The models covered in this notification are:
52600 VerbatimClassic A E27 6W;
52601 Verbatim Classic A E27 9W;
52612Verbatim Classic A B22 9W;
52619 VerbatimClassic A B22 6W;
52626 Verbatim Classic A E27 9W ND 4000K.
The above-mentioned models are likely to bring consumers a risk of electric shock. At present, the British authorities have taken mandatory measures to withdraw the market and recall the above products. 
In the test, the Classic GLS LED bulb did not pass the electrical strength test and did not meet the European electrical safety standards. This means that in some cases these LED bulbs have a slightly increased risk of electric shock. 
The test results have been notified to Weibao, and Weibo has also conducted internal investigations and proposed some modifications, including:
· Dismantle and destroy notified products throughout Europe · Improve the design of bulbs · Introduce more stringent quality control processes and additional electrical strength tests · Add additional safety advice and guidance to the packaging.
“The vast majority of test bulbs are fully compliant with EN 62560:2013 and EN 60598-1:2008, and only a handful of luminaires are not.†IWan quality manager Ian Rainsford said, “We don’t think any bulb poses a danger to users. However, if the user wants to return the bulb, we are of course willing to replace it."
