On September 28th, Hongli Zhihui hosted an investor relations event, where key executives shared insights into the company's operations and future strategies. Deng Shoutie, the Secretary of the Board, and Liu Dongli, the representative for securities affairs, were present to address the attendees.
Deng Shoutie began by providing a comprehensive overview of the company’s background. Established in 2004, Hongli Zhihui has been focused on the research, development, production, and sales of LED packaging and application products. Its primary applications include general lighting and automotive signal lighting. Currently, the company operates in two main business areas: LED and automotive networking.
Under the LED business segment, several subsidiaries play distinct roles. Liangyou Hardware specializes in producing LED brackets and lenses, while Jincai Hardware focuses on MIM, PVD, and CNC products. Hongli Zhihui, Simaid, and Jiangxi Hongli are responsible for LED packaging, including white LEDs and vehicle-related lighting. Lai Diya handles general LED lighting, Zhongying Gongyuan manages domestic engineering projects, Guangzhou Foda deals with automotive lighting, and Hongli Bingyi is involved in UV curing and deep ultraviolet disinfection. Xu Wei Semiconductor works on infrared security solutions, and the company continues to explore new applications within the LED industry.
In the automotive networking sector, Hongli Zhihui has invested in companies such as Dina Technology, Hongchuang Power, Hezhong Automobile, and Speed Easy Network. Dina Technology provides vehicle networking solutions, Hongchuang Power develops core components for new energy vehicles, Hezhong Automobile focuses on smart connected technology, and Speed Easy Network offers digital marketing services tailored for automotive brands.
During the Q&A session, several key questions were raised. One was about the progress of Simaid’s production relocation to Nanchang. The relocation has been carried out in batches, with the latest phase completed recently. While some production lines remain in Shenzhen for R&D purposes, the total monthly LED packaging capacity now exceeds 5,000 KK, with further expansion planned based on market demand.
Another question addressed the factors contributing to the growth of LED package product revenue. These include increasing demand in the LED lighting market, the exit of international competitors, and a shift toward industry concentration.
The company also shared details about its gross profit margin for LED packaging products. Although the margin declined slightly due to lower-margin OEM orders and increased competition, it has stabilized this year, with a slight improvement in the first quarter of the second quarter.
Looking ahead, the company plans to focus on LED lamp beads for automotive front lighting and expand its presence in the automotive signal market. Subsidiaries like Guangzhou Foda and Yishan Car Light are actively working on developing stronger and more advanced automotive lighting solutions.
Regarding the automotive lighting business, two subsidiaries are leading the effort. Guangzhou Foda specializes in commercial vehicle LED lighting, selling products such as signal lights and headlights internationally. Yishan Car Light supplies domestic passenger car lighting, working closely with major manufacturers like Geely, Changan, and Great Wall Motor.
Finally, the company explained its decision to sell part of its stake in Hezhong Automobile. This move was made to improve cash flow and enhance long-term profitability, aligning with the company’s strategic goals. After the sale, Hongli Zhihui still holds a significant stake through its subsidiary Hongyi Investment, supporting continued growth and stability in the core business.
