On December 12, 2017, NetEase Smart News reported that the "2017 China AI Heroes Billboard" — a large-scale annual AI personality selection campaign co-sponsored by NetEase Smart News, Xinhuanet, and the Future Research Institute — will hold its award ceremony on December 18 at the annual meeting of NetEase Economists, held at the Beijing Guomao Phase III Hotel. The 2018 NetEase Economist Annual Meeting will feature a main forum along with eight sub-forums. The AI Forum and the AI Heroes Awards ceremony will take place at 8:30 AM on December 18.
