A report by Tracxn, an investment data analysis company, pointed out that startups in the field of virtual reality have already raised 533 million U.S. dollars this year. In addition, 153 investments in startups took place in 2015, totaling $690 million. The most active investor in VR is Rothenberg Ventures, who has already invested in startups such as JauntVR and Matterport. Boost VC, Techstarts, Intel Capital and Qualcomm Venture Capital are also very active.

Samsung Electronics, the electronics giant, has also been closely following this area. Samsung Ventures has invested in seven start-up companies, including Wevr, Replay Technologies, Bubl and FOVE.
