For products that have been certified according to the old version of the standard, the application for conversion of the new version of the standard certificate should be submitted to the center before the end of the first follow-up inspection after the standard implementation date; all the old version of the standard certificate conversion work will be delayed by December 31, 2017. The day is completed, the deadline is not completed, the center will suspend the old standard certification. After the March 31, 2018, the conversion certificate has not been completed, and the center will revoke the old standard certification.
The new version of the standard specifically increases the requirements for blue light hazards
Compared with the old version of the standard, the new version of the standard has been revised in several cases, one of which increases the requirements for Blu-ray hazards, such as:
Luminaires with integral LED or LED modules shall be subjected to a blue light hazard assessment in accordance with IEC/TR62778;
For children's portable lamps and nightlights, the blue light hazard level measured at a distance of 200mm shall not exceed RG1;
For portable luminaires and portable lamps, if the blue light hazard level measured at a distance of 200mm exceeds RG1, the symbol “Do not stare at the light source†should be marked on the outside of the luminaire, as shown in the figure below.
For fixed luminaires, if the blue light hazard level measured at a distance of 200 mm exceeds RG1, then the critical distance of the luminaire just at RG1 needs to be determined experimentally.
Blu-ray hazards have been a hot issue of concern recently. According to the standard IEC62471, the blue light hazard mainly refers to the photochemical reaction caused by optical radiation between 300 nm and 700 nm, which causes damage to retinal damage. Since the blue light component of the LED product is rich, and the brightness of the exposed LED light source is often high, the LED lamp may have a risk of blue light hazard.

Blue light hazard evaluation index
Due to human health issues, major domestic and international standardization organizations have conducted a lot of research on the blue light problem. The evaluation methods of blue light hazard are introduced in detail in the standards IEC62471-2006 and IECTR62778, and the level of blue light hazard is divided. In general, the parameters used for the evaluation of blue light hazards mainly include retinal blue light hazard-weighted radiance and blue light hazard characterization.
Laboratory measurement program
