The 256GB version of the same series of laptops equipped with the latest 2.6GHz processor will start at $1,699, down $300. In addition, Apple also reduced the price of the 256GB version of the 13-inch MacBook Air by $100 to $1,399. The price of flash memory for all flash notebooks is also lowered by $200-300.
Apple also increased the speed of the other two laptops. The processor of the 15-inch MacBook Pro notebook with Retina display will upgrade from 2.3 GHz to a faster 2.4 GHz quad-core processor; the 15-inch notebook will upgrade from 2.6 GHz to a new 2.7 GHz quad-core processor.
It is worth noting that the Apple China website has also been revised accordingly. Today, the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro has a starting price of $10,988 and is configured for 128 GB of flash memory. The price of the 2.6GHz processor and 256GB flash memory is also reduced to RMB 12,488. Compared with the previous price, the price reduction range is 1500-2500 yuan. The price of the 13-inch MacBook Air with non-Retina screens has also been lowered, and the 256GB flash model is now available for $10,488.
