Finding Parkinson's Disease with Pebble

Recently, Michael J. Fox, who has appeared in a popular sci-fi comedy "Back to the Future," diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The actor hopes to get more people concerned about this disease through his own foundation. It now appears that the foundation may even find ways to treat the disease. Recently, Intel Corporation teamed up with the Michael J. Fox Foundation, hoping to use devices such as the Pebble Smart Watch to help people with Parkinson's disease overcome the disease.

Pebble said: "With wearable technologies such as data science, smart watches, etc., cloud computing, researchers can understand the situation of each patient - and these are what they could not access before - and, it is also possible to improve treatment method."

Now, the trial patient in the first stage of Parkinson's disease wore a Pebble smart watch and matched it with a smartphone. Pebble explained: "This setting can monitor the patient's daily activities, and then safely upload the data to the cloud, so that researchers can seamlessly access multiple patient data without disturbing the patient."

Pebble, a smart watch manufacturer, is obviously very excited about being able to participate in such a research project.
