National Semiconductor has announced a set of LED WEBENCH online design tools to help engineers quickly screen more than 200 high-brightness LEDs and complete system design in a short time. The WEBENCH design tool compares LED product parameters (such as light output, color, filial viewing angle, current and power rating) of brands such as Avago Technologies, Cree, Lite-On, Nichia, OSRAM, and Philips Lumileds. The unique "Modeling Express" feature delivers customised model kits to engineers in a short amount of time.
