New Survey Says Smokers in Electronic Hookahs Have Less Hazardous Substances in Urine Tests

In the American Medical Journal “Annals of Internal Medicine”, a survey report of the latest comparison of e-cigarette and steam-hook users and traditional smokers’ urine detection harmful substances was published, showing that compared to traditional smokers, Users who use electronic cigarettes and steam shisha exhibit fewer harmful carcinogens in urine tests. Of course, the scope of this report is small, and the impact of electronic cigarettes on lung cancer and other health hazards has not been investigated. The comparison report of urine test results for electronic cigarettes and smokers is not sufficient to form rigorous scientific conclusions.

A team of British scientists investigated and sampled 181 smokers and were divided into five groups according to smoking habits. Smokers who use only traditional tobacco products, from traditional to smokers who only smoke electronic cigarettes, smokers who use both electronic hookahs and traditional tobacco, nicotine quitters who chewed on sugar or nicotine patches, do not include the use of inbound Non-nicotine e-cigarette smokers.

Urine samples from each subgroup were analyzed and found to show that the amount of carcinogens in the urine tests of smokers using e-shisha or nicotine substitutes was significantly lower than that of traditional smokers. This means that smokers using e-cigarette products may be able to reduce the risk of lung cancer, lung disease, or other cardiovascular diseases. But it does not mean that electronic cigarettes are completely safe, nicotine is very easy to addiction, and any form of nicotine ingestion can cause negative effects on the cardiovascular system.
